What People Are Saying
Yes DEFINITELY good match for me. The short quick lectures done by a very experienced speaker are perfect for this course. Its obvious this person has been there and taken care of many trauma patients and can mention the pearls and pitfalls that everyone needs to know.

ATLS 10th Edition
See what's new for the latest ATLS protocol. You will be able to compare the differences between the 9th Edition and 10th Edition. One major new focus in "10" is teamwork.
8 Reasons to Buy This Course
You know that hope is not a strategy. Don’t take the written or practical without doing what it takes to pass the first time.
Even if the hospital or agency is picking up the tab, you really just want to pass the ATLS the first time and move on.
Not just on the test but on the job. See the feedback above. Comprehensive breakdown of the ATLS protocol leaves no stone unturned in preparing you to win.
Having certification is often a requirement for the working in the E.R. Having and applying the knowledge even before the certification test brings out the best outcomes for everyone.
Knowing you are weak in an area beforehand is plus. Obviously it gives you the ability to make it stronger. Not just subject matter but also whether it is the written, practical, or skill area of the certification test.
Whatever your role is on the team, you need to know the protocol and apply it for the best outcomes – 6 years of residency not required.
No one is a “good test taker” if they go in blind! This course was designed because not everyone passes the test. Some do fine on the Written but not the Practical. And vice versa. The course preps you for both.
You have a money back guarantee built in with the Udemy platform. No worries of “buyers remorse”.

Chapter by Chapter Videos
In each video lecture I give you my notes to all 13 Chapters – all of the key points and subject matter areas that I think will help you on the written and practical. It’s a fairly detailed review of ATLS that you can go over as many times as you like – long before the actual exam date.

100+ Question Practice Test
I created (along with my team) over 100 practice test and quiz questions with answers. This pillar was built to help you develop and strengthen your ability to think through the written exam questions and get to the correct answer. (A better value than going in blind or worse still, combing the internet for test questions!)

Curated Skills
I reviewed and narrowed down a host of videos demonstrating ATLS Skills necessary for ATLS certification. I also include my comments and points to remember as you view these videos. No more wasting time clicking and hoping to stumble upon a good video.

Practical Guidance
Because the Practical portion of the certification exam is basically one big question and many people are not experienced with this format, I give you some guidance, from experience, throughout this prep course on how to handle working your way through the trauma scenario.
Practice Test Questions
A Free Preview of the Practice Test Questions to help you prepare for the written portion of the test. Over 100+ updated questions to help you think through the questions and Practical (which is really just a series of questions in one scenario).
what people are saying
I used this as initial review for my voluntary renewal of ATLS. Just with video alone and skimming 10th ED, I was very comfortable. Handled 5 Level I cases at small hospital like a star the last seven days. Recertifications exam scheduled exam tomorrow in Charlotte, NC. Could not bettered prepared. You cleared up some of my prior misconceptions and able to out shine trauma surgeon who was hanging on BP for class III-IV shock while I voiced concern for not improving CO with HR 145, open bookend pelvic fractures, open left humerus fracture, facial fractures with ruptured globe. . . I would say you had me ready. More importantly I was able to debrief with EMS and their pitfalls as constructive criticism and my staff was shown the art of appreciation with stimulating their thirst for knowledge. TY Dr. SRB

No CME's
I’m not going to grant you any CME’s because I can’t grant you any CME’s. Which means, to be absolutely 100% clear - you don’t get any CME’s because you took this prep course. You will get your CME’s from the American College of Surgeons when you take and pass the ATLS Certification course.
No Guarantee You Will Pass
I'm not going to guarantee you pass the test because you have to study, prepare, and take the test for yourself. I thought this was obvious but Legal actually made me write this - seriously.
no answers to the Test
I’m not going to give you any answers from the ATLS Certification exam. As I mentioned above, we developed over 100 of our own updated ATLS 10 practice test questions with answers for you. You will be well prepped to think through whatever they throw at you.
not a "certified" instructor
But no worries, I created the course instead. But to be absolutely clear: I’m not an official or invited instructor from the American College of Surgeons and this prep course is in no way endorsed, linked, sanctioned, funded, or affiliated in anyway with the American College of Surgeons or the ATLS Certification or Recertification courses.
FAQ
Both. To address the differences between the 9 and 10 protocols, I cover the updates in detail in the ATLS 10 Update video. The books are different (page numbers) but the chapters and topics are identical. That is why I also created a “Bridge” so if you are taking the certification test under ATLS 10 you will have correct page numbers. It’s part of the course but you can click here to go to the Bridge.
